I loved Capricorn and Basta. It’s amazing how much Mo changes from Inkspell to Inkdeath So I’m glad I’ve finally finished it. Set up a giveaway. It was a boy. His Dark Materials, Book 1. Showing of reviews. And the new things he can do with fire are awesome. I still don’t see how she could have fallen in love with that snake She gets him back safely to the robber’s camp, while keeping her allegiance a secret from The Piper and her young son Jacopoa follower of the Adderhead and admirer of the Piper.
Meggie’s brother seems so cute. Once again I loved the characters and how well they developed over cotnelia three books. Who tells the story?

As one of the other reviewers says, Dude. Violante really grows and develops in Inkdeath. Funke was juggling so many different plots by the end of Inkspell that I was seriously funkee that many or all would be dropped or mishandled in the third act, but she surprised me by keeping all of them going until their natural conclusions, and also re Inkdeath is the epic adventure I expected Inkheart and Inkspell to be—and as much as I complained about the slow pace, plot meandering, and innumerable characters in the first two books, I can tell you now that all the buildup was worth it.

I didn’t feel bad when they weren’t together anymore because she honestly deserved someone so much better. Nothing happens for a long time and, when something does happen, it’s just too sudden, out of nowhere, and it finished quickly. First of all, I thought it was kind of gross when they were in love in Inkspell, because he’s like, way older than her it never actually says how old Cosimo is, but I’ve always thought of him as being, like, 20, while Brianna is Farid spent more time pining after Dustfinger than he did after Meggie, which says something about how he is.
Instead it wore them down, it hollowed them out very slowly. I love the story too, but I keep ordering more of all 3 books trying to get a perfect collection. I’m still sad about how the ending of the book turned out.

Funke should have cut Inkdeath in half and made it into two separate books, in my opinion. The Inkworld, full of dark magic, is under siege; the savagery of the Adderhead and his minions now extends to taking all the peasants’ children until somebody delivers, as ransom, the Bluejay, a Robin Hood—style character whose identity has been assumed by Mo, Meggie’s father it was Mo who started all inkdesth trouble by inkdeeath several villains right out of the book-within-a-book, Inkheart— don’t even consider reading this series out of order.
By the time I got to read “Inkdeath,” the final book in the trilogy, it was hard to remember all the pertinent events from the previous two novels, and knowledge of those events is necessary in this series. The middle of the book was really good and I was quite enthralled, but towards the end it seemed like Cornelia was rushing the story.
